Information systems

Information systems are the methods and records used to identify, collate, analyse, calculate, classify, record and report transactions and other events that affect a business and to maintain accountability for assets, liabilities, revenue and expenditures. These systems are not just the computer systems but general accounting and office procedures, and also include other associated systems such as performance reviews,
distribution and manufacturing systems.
