Ind AS 16 ‘Property, Plant and Equipment’ According to Para D5, an entity may elect
to measure an item of property, plant and equipment at the date of transition to Ind ASs
at its fair value and use that fair value as its deemed cost at that date. Adjustments to be made to retained earnings on first time adoption with respect to items of PPE.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) was constituted in 1972, following the enactment of the Gujarat Secondary Education Act 1972. Its Chairman and Deputy Chairman are appointed by the State Government. It has 16 ex officio members, and 44 other members drawn from academic organizations, legislative bodies and civil society.
