Accounting is an accuracy oriented job. Concentrate on how you dress, speak and present yourself in the company. These also insert a personal magnetism which helps in maintaining good associations with peers and clients.You need to understand the business world. Start looking at the bigger picture in terms of company numbers. This business insight is a requirement for a CA.Leadership and logical skills are very important to a charter accountant. Besides these, work on your communication skills both verbal and written.
Be ready to work elongated and hard when required especially in the taxation months.
